About me.
My experience spans a range of skills covering corporate to creative businesses.

For the last 8.5 years, I worked in marketing within a further education organisation, Skills and Education Group. For 2.5 of those years, I was Head of Brands, leading the Marketing and Communications team. This involved seeing through several brand evolutions of two Awarding Organisations, one Access Validating Agency, and one Membership Organisation. This role also sparked my interest in event branding and management, allowing me to put my skills into practice at their annual conferences and sponsored external events.
Beyond that, I have supported Christmas events at stately home Tissington Hall, offering digital and printed design items to promote their events.
My experience has spanned a diverse range of small businesses, including vintage sweet shops and make-up artists, where I've focused on brand development through website design and product packaging.
I spent my early freelance career as a designer for a children’s theatre company, Blunderbus, creating bespoke designs for their shows’ promotional material.

I’m a thinker, I like to take a brief, digest it and come back to you with visuals to explain my ideas. From there your project will evolve, until we have a clear picture of what you want.
While my business is run by just me, accommodating my young family, you can expect complete transparency and realistic timescale projections tailored to your brief right from our initial discussions.

My love of brand work started back in 2015 when owner David contacted me to re-brand his vintage sweet shop ‘Edward and Vintage’ in the heart of the Peak District. From jar labels to a new website with bespoke graphics, this project brought together his love of vintage memorabilia and childhood playfulness.
